Constantine Chinoporos

Executive Chairman

Constantine Chinoporos is a senior biopharma executive with an exceptional record of sourcing, leading, and closing major transactions that have generated significant shareholder value across large pharma and small biotech organizations. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Business Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer at Applied Therapeutics, where he led the company’s sale to Cycle Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Applied Therapeutics, Constantine was Chief Business Officer at Albireo Pharmaceuticals, where he led the sale of the company to Ipsen Pharmaceuticals for $952M plus a $10/share contingent value right. Before Albireo, he was a member of the executive leadership team at Boston Pharmaceuticals, where he built the company’s licensing pipeline through 21 product license deals. Earlier in his career, Constantine headed Worldwide Licensing and regional business development at Sanofi S.A., and held a series of progressive leadership positions at Genzyme Corporation. He currently serves on the board of directors of Geron Corporation and the Strategic Advisory Group of Apollo Therapeutics and previously served as an independent board director and chair of the Compensation Committee at Elektrofi until its acquisition by Halozyme. Constantine holds an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BA in History, also from Cornell University.
